Neal LaFon
President
President
Graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelors degree in Geology, and from the University of Kansas with a masters degree in Paleontology. He had a brief stint with Unocal in Oklahoma City before becoming an independent and forming Meridian Energy Inc in 1984. Neal is a highly successful explorationist having made discoveries in Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas over the past 35 years.
Maxwell LaFon

Land/Operations
Graduated from the University of Colorado Geosciences department with a bachelors degree in Geology. He worked for Slawson Exploration Company Inc. for 6 years as a prospect exploration geologist. During this time he covered many different basins including, the Williston, Powder River, DJ, Miss Lime in OK, Austin Chalk/Eagleford Pearsall, TX, and Northwest Kansas. Maxwell decided to go independent and joined Meridian in 2015. He handles land acquisition and operations for Meridian Energy Inc.
Weston LaFon

Exploration
Graduated with honors from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in Geological Engineering. He was employed by Apache Corp for 5 years as a geologist and petrophysicist primarily in the Delaware and Midland Basins, TX. Weston also decided to become an independent and joined Meridian in 2018 after having invested and prospected in Nebraska and Kansas ventures for the past 8 years. Weston is currently in charge of exploration.
